The 2026 Ellis Fischel Clinical Cancer Symposium brings together healthcare professionals, educators, and researchers to share the latest advancements in cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. Presentations will highlight evidence-based practices and practical tools for physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals. This year’s symposium features topics including artificial intelligence, Alpha-Gal syndrome, GLP-1 therapies, pharmacy, and specialty-specific areas of care. The conference fosters interdisciplinary collaboration, enhances clinical knowledge and skills, and supports the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care. Ultimately, it is designed to strengthen clinical practice and improve comprehensive cancer care for patients and their families.
Learner will self-report increased knowledge regarding the latest evidence-based practices and tools related to the clinical management and care of patients with cancer and their families.
Learner will self-report increased readiness to implement at least one practice change based on the enhanced skills in the diagnosis, treatment, or clinical management of the patient with cancer and their families.

Successful completion of this activity, which includes being paid in full, participating in the educational offering, participating in the evaluation process and completing the verification of attendance, enables the learner to satisfy the requirements for continuing education.

Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
This activity is designated for up to 11.75 CDR CPEUs. Completion of this RD/DTR profession-specific or IPCE activity awards CPEUs (1 IPCE credits = 1 CPEU). If the activity is dietetics related but not targeted to RDs or DTRs, CPEUs may be claimed which are commensurate with participation in contact hours (1 hour/60 minutes = 1 CPEU). RDs and DTRs are to select activity type 102 in their Activity Logs.
